Lifecore and PolyPeptide Partner to Deliver End-to-End Peptide Drug Development Solutions in the U.S.

Lifecore Biomedical, Inc. and PolyPeptide Laboratories, Inc. have announced a collaboration to offer fully integrated development and manufacturing services for peptide-based pharmaceuticals in the United States.

The partnership combines PolyPeptide’s expertise in peptide manufacturing and development with Lifecore’s capabilities in formulation, fill/finish, and packaging. Together, the companies aim to provide a seamless transition from drug substance (DS) to drug product (DP), helping pharmaceutical customers accelerate development timelines, lower costs, and mitigate risks through a streamlined, U.S.-based supply chain.

The companies plan to jointly support laboratory transfers, equipment comparability, method transfer, and release testing to ensure technical robustness and quality oversight throughout the drug development process.
